Is Technology Taking Over Our Minds ??

Technology is not bringing us apart but it also isn’t bringing us as close as it should. A lot of technology in this society revolves around how much money can be made, when it should be revolved around how many people it can help. In some ways technology is in fact bringing us together, Broadening our ways of communication, expanding our ways of learning, and making life easier to deal with. Technology is also tearing us apart. How is it that we have money to build and create new inventions but thousands of people around our country are starving, living on the streets with their families, looking for jobs and begging just to get by for one day? No one has an answer, because there isn’t one.
Sooner or later technology is going to take over everything and this society is going to be destroyed. Instead of having workers work machines in plants or factory’s, they’ll have some kind of technology doing the job for them and eventually humans will be replaced with machines and they’ll become jobless. Sound crazy, right? Machines working machines, I know but, that’s how it’s going to be, just give them a little more time.
Have you ever heard the saying, “too much of anything is bad for you”? Well this situation is a perfect example of what it means. Technology is great but, replacing everything that worked well before advanced technology has to be bad for the economy. Everyone isn’t as advanced with technology as others therefore, the “geniuses” that knows how to use technology well will be the only ones working, causing the unemployment rate to rise, then people will stop spending money and finally the economy will come to a halt and we’ll most likely find ourselves depending on each other in another recession or even worst, a depression. It’s like a cycle, we stick together, technology comes and takes over, and then it’s back to us to help each other out again.
Third world countries have know idea what technology really is. I feel that if they had more technology they would be better off, maybe not as much as we, the USA, a first world country, but enough to help them survive.  Technology is important these day but it takes a lot of our attention. Instead of family time, mom's on her laptop, dad's on his smart phone, and their children are on tablets. It's okay  to sometimes have a litttle alone time with your technology device but every minute is a little bit obssessive, dont you think?
